Disclosures of Student Profiles

Before you can create an online learning profile with AACS COUNSELING, we must disclose the following information to you, and you must acknowledge and agree to it:

This Contract is between American Alternative Court Services LLC. DBA AACS Counseling, LLC. (the "Business" or "Course Provider") and (the "Client" or "Participant") dated

The parties referred to in this Agreement may also be defined as follows:

  • Course Provider, us, we: Course Provider, as the creator, operator, and publisher of the Course, is responsible for providing the Course publicly. Course Provider, us, we, our, ours, and other first-person pronouns will refer to the Course Provider and, if applicable, all employees and affiliates of the Course Provider.
  • You, the user, the participant: You, as the participant in the Course and user of the Website, will be referred to throughout this Agreement with second-person pronouns such as you, your, yours, or as user or participant.

Please read the following disclosures carefully before signing up for our virtual Courses.

  • AACS COUNSELING does NOT offer personalized legal or medical advice.
  • AACS COUNSELING is not liable for any client-side technical issues or difficulties. These include a fundamental understanding of how to use a computer or mobile device, the compatibility of your computer or mobile device, internet connectivity, and the use of any required software applications or programs.
  • Your privacy is extremely important to us. We ensure that all information shared orally, electronically, and in writing is managed in accordance with legal and ethical standards. We will take precautions to ensure that information is only disclosed to legally authorized entities to access it.
  • Our entire privacy policy is available upon request or can be accessed through our websites.
  • AACS COUNSELING may log details about the device you use to access your online learning profile to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. These details may include your IP address, operating system, and browser information.
  • As a AACS COUNSELING customer, we may need to communicate with you about your account from time to time. You consent to be contacted via phone calls, SMS messages (text messages), standard mail, email, and electronic mail (email). You can opt out of being contacted anytime by going to your student profile. We will not share your information with any third parties without your permission, in accordance with our privacy policy.
  • AACS COUNSELING may need to interrupt your access to the Course to perform maintenance or emergency services on a scheduled or unscheduled basis. You agree that your access to the Course and/or Website may be affected by unanticipated or unscheduled downtime for any reason but that we shall have no liability for any damage or loss caused by such downtime.

By clicking the "Accept" button, you certify that you have read and understood these disclosures and agree to be bound by them. If you click the "Decline" button, the registration process will be terminated, and a profile will not be created for you.
